Texas Royalty Maine Coons is a small in-home TICA registered Cattery. My husband and I have ten acres outside of San Angelo, Texas. This provides ample space for outdoor cat runs and a separate living cottage for our adult Maine Coons if they need some additional space. Lots of Texas sunshine makes a happy cat!! Our Maine Coon (older) kittens and queens always have free reign in our home so they can lounge around in our many cat towers and play. We have one room that is dedicated as a nursery for birthing and smaller kittens. Our three children love the loud purr of a Maine Coon and constant cuddles. We believe being hands on within the Cattery teaches the kids responsibility and compassion for animals. Our kittens are fully socialized by the time that they go to their forever family at 12 weeks. This means that they are used to being handled with love, baths, noises, kids, and dogs. We have one German Shephard that is a gentle giant. All of our cats just love her. Socialization is important during the first year of a kitten’s life to ensure that your kitten will be affectionate and able to handle daily stressors. Our family is passionate about feeding top of the line wet and dry food as well as fresh meat. We also focus on added vitamins and probiotics. We can’t forget about gut health in our friendly Felines!! All of our queens and studs have clear Wisdom Panels. This means that they don't carry any known genetic health conditions. We don’t breed the largest Maine Coons because we know there is some potential health issues that come along with that. However, our program does have some of the most beautiful and loving Maine Coons we have ever come across. With that being said, they are still pretty large cats.
Now I want to introduce each Maine Coon within our breeding program. We have Jacky who is a Black Silver Tabby with Green-golden eyes, long lynx tips, and a long silky coat. Jacky is the only territorial queen; she teaches boundaries for sure. I think she would prefer to have us all to herself if she could, but she doesn’t mind playing with the other Maine Coons. She is just over a year old. Her favorite thing to do is follow me from room to room and run on the cat running wheels!! Next, we have Roxie, who is a silver ticked tabby. Her coat is a lighter silver, lustrous and long, she has show features and is one of our largest females. She has the cutest personality and will play all day. Also, I have never felt a coat as silky as Roxie’s. She just turned a year old and will be ready to be bred within 2-4 months. Remember, Maine coons take three years before they are full grown. They can breed from 14-16 months. Our next queen is Belle. She is also a light silver-ticked tabby with beautiful light green eyes. She was imported from Russia and is 2 ½ years old. Belle holds a title for 2024. She is my most loving queen and will allow anyone to hold her as long as they want. Lastly, we have Olivia who is a classic silver Torbie with golden eyes. Olivia also holds a title for 2024 and is imported from Russia. She is two years old and is calm and loving. We also have two kings in our program. First up is Oliver, he is a brown ticked tabby with white. Oliver is our big boy weighing 20 pounds. He has light green eyes, a shorter coat, with the longest tail out of all of them. He also holds a title for 2024. Next is Titus, he is our new kitten. He is considered a silver tabby, but his body is full blue. Titus is our only Polydactyl and he has beautiful show features. He is very affectionate and loves to “make biscuits” with his large, tufted poly paws. Titus is 4 months and will be ready to breed around a year.
